Trip to Znojmo town and Vranov nad Dyji castle
Day trip to Znojmo town located near the border with Austria on the left bank of the river of Dyje. Znojmo is the entrance gate to the National park of Podyjí and the center of Znojmo wine sub-region. Among several interesting monuments such as the town hall, the castle and St Nicholas church stands above all the Romanesque rotunde of Saint Catherine where the oldest Romanesque frescoes depicting life of Přemyslid royal house are preserved. Afternoon we will visit Vranov nad Dyjí castle standing on the 76 m high rock outcrop above Dyje river.
