Mikulov, a traditional wine centre in South Moravia, picturesque place with the atmosphere of a mediterranean town, is the right place for you to get authentic wine tasting experience. Your trip begins in a local winery located in the town centre with welcome drink and introduction from a local winemaker. After short intro you continue to vineyards where will be conducted “a terrain wine tasting”. On the way back from vineyards is planned a stop in another small local winery with wine degustation and presentation of winery premises. Following is free time for lunch and inidividual visits of local sights. The whole wine tasting experience in Mikulov will be concluded in the newly open wine gallery where you find a collection of wines from small local wineries and you will sample the best what region can offer to wine lovers.

This wine tasting trip will introduce you Mikulov wine subregion, one of 4 Moravian wine subregions. During this trip we will visit the National Wine Salon of the Czech Republic in Valtice UNESCO town (former Liechtenstein princely residence) where we will taste samples of the best Czech wines, the winners of the highest wine competition in the Czech Republic. The trip is combination of wine tasting and visting UNESCO monuments.

The Moravian Karst, with 1100 caverns and gorges, is the most significant karst area in the Czech Republic. The Amatérska Cave is the largest cave system in the Czech republic. There are 5 open caves to the public and we will visit the most popular Punkevní Cave. The tour of the cave takes us to the bottom of the Macocha Abyss at a depth of 138m and we will cruise the underground river of Punkva.

Brno city

3 hours’ walking tour of Brno city centre will provide you a deep insight to the city history from its very first beginning until the present. You are going to hear legends and see many interesting places. Have you heard of the famous composer Leoš Janáček or the scientist Gregor Johann Mendel? Well, these and other important personalities have a tight connection with Brno and you are going to learn about them too. At the end of the tour we will visit the most famous Brno monument inscibed in the UNESCO- the functionalist Vila Tugendhat.

Lednice castle

Full day trip to the famous Lednice-Valtice Cultural and Viticultural Landscape area which spreads out on the total of 161 km2 between the three historical Liechtenstein manorial holdings of Lednice, Valtice and Břeclav. 3 castles, French garden, English park, ponds, vineyards and interesting architectural buildings such as the Temple of Three Graces, the Border chateau or the Colonnade are waiting to be seen and admired. On the way back to Brno is planned a stop in Mikulov town, one of the most picturesque town in Moravia.

Although both towns are located in two different regions of Zlín and Olomouc, their history and development are closely tied up to the Archdiocese of Olomouc. While in Kroměříž you will visit the Archbishop Palace and 2 gardens – the castle garden and the Flower Garden, in Olomouc we will take a walking tour in the city centre starting with the St Wenceslaus cathedral and ending at the UNESCO monument of the Holy Trinity Baroque column.

Telc town
